Dear Cancer, "You weakened my heart, my lungs my bones and my out look on life. Yet I just want to tell you, I'm stronger than ever. My heart is loved and beats better than ever. My lungs breathe in the lovely fresh air and I walk tall, taller than you ever will. We are winning your awful game."

I really had other things to do. I had a layoff, another career interruption, family issues - really, the diagnosis was not necessary! But I've learned a lot too - who will stand up for you, I will survive with grey hair - heck, I'm happy to have hair, and that I have been extraordinarily lucky. Not going to thank you, Cancer. But I do want you to know that you haven't beaten me!!

"'Cancer taught me a lot. I learned I shouldn't take my life for granted. I'm now on my 4th cycle chemotherapy. Everything is going fine. Cancer doesn't stop me from being a beautiful princess. I love myself more than before. I love being bald and I'm proud of it."- Pauline, Ovarian Cancer Fighter #LifeAfterDiagnosis?'

"Tomorrow is Debora's last chemo!! Join us in cheering her on.
"My name is Debora I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2015. I did 35 radiation treatments and 7 rounds of chemo (Cisplatin). I ended up having a complete hysterectomy in May of the same year. I followed up with several PET scans throughout the year only to find out that I had a lymph node that was lighting up in my abdominal wall and was on a main artery so they could not biopsy it, much less remove it. So again in 2015, I had to do chemo again. Again, I had several PET scans after that treatment and the last one in March of 16 showed the lymph node lighting up again and some more “spots”. So….in 2016, I’m taking chemo AGAIN (for a third time)...
I have met so many people in the last 3 years and heard about others going to their journeys. I have learned so much in the past 3 years that I never thought I would know (chemo names, ports, good and bad blood counts etc…). Most of all, I thank God for all He has done in my life and I know there is a reason in which I am going through this….He has helped me fight the battle and He will help me win the war!!!!
I am about to go to my final chemo treatment this go round tomorrow and I pray that this is the last one. God bless each and every one of you." - Debora, Cervical Cancer Fighter ‪#‎LifeAfterDiagnosis‬"‬
