I am a Fighter

I am a mother of identical twin teenage girls, recovering from stage 3b nodular melanoma, and surviving papillary thyroid cancer. I am filled with gratitude for my loving family, spouse, and many friends and community members; I pursue my writing hobby on my blog: www.impatientpatientmomma.blogspot.ca I write about my experience with cancer, motherhood, and the goals I have for my remaining days, months, years... I have received ipilimumab treatment for melanoma, as well as thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine treatment for thyroid cancer. I have lots to share, whether to give support or to receive it - I am here. And I am thankful to be so.
