Starting to Live Again
October 5th, 2016

Well, life is a little different now. I'm back in college, going to parties, drinking WAY too much and having a lot of fun. I can slowly see myself getting back to normal. I still get scared whenever I don't feel good, or whenever an appointment comes up, but it's starting to get a little easier. My doctor is so confident that my cancer isn't coming back, that he only wants to start scanning me once a year. It's so exciting! I'm running a 5K in Chicago this weekend, and then next month I'm going to Vegas for my 21st. I'm finally starting to live again and i love it.

Seriously?

It's bad enough that I had to go through cancer, but now people I love are getting it too. It's just not fair... why do the most amazing, caring, loving people have to receive this horrible disease. I am so frustrated. Tracy's mom, Gene Nelson, and maybe Ms.Cindy, this just isn't right... and now my best friend Mckenna is getting checked out. I hate this so much. FUCK CANCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What now?
June 6th, 2016

I haven't journaled in a really long time. I tried to get into it when I first got sick, but then I just stopped. Technically I'm cancer free right now. I'm going in for my sixth month remission appointment. This is the first time I'll be scanned since chemo. I'm nervous. I think I'll always be nervous going into these appointments. Now i have this question on my mind... What now? I'm in college and cancer free, so now I need to decide what to do with my life. I have NO idea what that is. Hopefully I'll get a sign soon because this is frustrating.
