I am a Survivor
Hey everyone, glad to be on IHadCancer. I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's stage III in December 2016. At first they thought it was diffuse large B-cell and then after gene testing, determined it was more likely primary mediastinal (with double expressors).
After trying to find info online and getting back medical jargon/statistics, I realized just how hard it is to get real human answers for newly-diagnosed patients and their caregivers. So I quit my job and started www.ThePatientStory.com.
We are working hard to plug that void for the millions unfortunately hit by cancer and give them some sense of calm and control instead. On our site, they can find in-depth interviews with recent cancer survivors in FAQs and timelines.
