Got my hair cut today...it's starting to look almost normal again (plus the stylist was great with creating the illusion)and while is may sound a little superficial it's another step...away from the side effects...to feeling normal...to not feeling like a label.

Rosemary and I met when I was 15, we have been great friends and have gone through so much together over the years. Almost exactly one year to the day from my diagnosis with triple negative breast cancer she was also diagnosed. She passed away on July 11th, I miss my buddy, I miss texting back and forth through the day..... I wish I knew why.

Feeling sad today. My mind keeps pulling towards the loss of a child that I never had, nor will I ever have with my ex-husband. I was diagnosed/treated for ovarian cancer in 2009, separated from my husband in 2010, divorced by 2012. It's been almost 4 years since diagnosis, 6 months since the divorce was finalized, and it feels like a lifetime. Today I am missing a little girl that I always dreamed of having, and I miss that dream.

Dear cancer, It's over. Theres nothing that you can do to effect me anymore, nothing at all. Sad though because my step grandmothers (my biological grandmother died from you asshole) neice is suffering the same cancer I had and do you know what? shes way stronger then you and she'll beat you. But the best news of all is that I've been 1 year clear of you and I've started a relationship that doesnt involve you. I may be 14 but you gotta let people live and cherish every moment they have instead of bringing us down. So get stuffed. Because I'm still here and your nothing to me now.

To whom it may concern...I kicked cancers Ass!!! Was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer 1c in May of 2011. My guardian Angels were watching over me. Had total hysterectomy and chemo. Doing very well now. So cancer....stop hurting people. We don't want you round here! Big hugs to all the fighters!!!

Dear Cancer, You didn't ruin my life, you made it better. I now know that I can overcome any problem that comes at me. You may have tried to hurt me once but it will NEVER happen again! You have tried to take some of my family and friends and you have succeeded with a few but my family and friends are stronger than you! They know how to defeat you and will continue to do so until you only as bad as a threat as the common cold! Some day you will just be washed away with a pill in the blink of an eye and when that day comes I will laugh HYSTERICALLY! When the doctor told me you were what you were I was scared at first but when I started taking the juice that you ABSOLUTELY HATE I knew I AM stronger than you! You are no match were no match for me! I thought when I had surgery for cervical cancer (stage IIIc) on November 8, 1988 I was rid of you. But oh no, you laid there in silence, inside my body for just over 22 years, just waiting to strike again. This time you came back as melanoma (stage Ia). All I have to say to you is, I beat you once and damn it and I'LL BEAT YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Cancer, over this summer you have claimed two lifes, infected another, and effected a lot. Cancer, You took from us my Father on 07/017/2012 and my Grandfather 08/18/2012. Cancer, you infected me with Stage 3 Colon Cancer, D-Day was 07/02/2012. OH, and Cancer, you have taken a 12 year old boys Great Grandfather and Grandfather, and given that boys father cancer. Cancer, I am going to be kicking your ass for some time to come, BUT I will win. My family will win.
