could this be a side effect???? 2 years post treatment for cervical cancer, radiation combined with chemo. i get what i call a worried sickness. It almost feels like some kind of flu x 5. achy bones and mussels, very very painfully. chills that go through my body. feeling of a fever, but no fever. makes me feel very sick and weak. strange metallic taste in my mouth. i get this about 1 to 2 times a month. it will last about 1 to 2 days... anyone out there that experience anything similar??? i would love to get you store.. i have seen numerous Doctors they seem to know nothing about this...

Has anyone had a abnormal pap come back after radiation and chemo? Does that mean you still cancer.

My mom just got the results from a recent pap test that show cancer cells (not pre-cancerous), but they are saying they don't know if it's uterine or cervical (he knows it's not ovarian). She has had no symptoms. Has anyone had this experience, and what is the next step?

I am really new a this. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer stage 1B and am concerned with the course of treatment. My gyno oncologist recommended I have 2 - 6 weeks of daily radiation therapy so she referred me to a radiation oncologist. He decided to give me only 3 treatments of internal radiation. I don't know what to think about this. I am concerned that this may not be enough radiation. Is there anyone out there with a similar situation?

does anyone here have problems with radiation causing stenosis in vaginal parts?i had radiation and chemo in 2007 for recurrent cervical cancer

I am waiting on my Pap results. I've been having bleeding after sex and horrible low back pain and cramping following. Last year I had an ablation to help with other bleeding, and bleeding in between periods...today he looked and told me I had trauma and lesions to my cervix...i have not had sex for a month and don't wear tampons(questions he asked) He looked at the wall for a minute before he even said anything....then scheduled me for an ultrasound of my cervix and waiting on the pap test....I am nervous...He showed me pictures of what my cervix looked like....he mentioned hysterectomy? Does this sound right? I am not having anymore children and have a family history of gyn cancers....Anyone have opinions or words of wisdom because I'm really scared! Thanks!!
